Himanshu: Hi. Hi Vishesh Ji. How's it going?

Vishesh: Hi Himanshu, All good, how about you?

Himanshu: All well sir. So thank you so much for taking the time and doing this. And I really appreciate you coming up on video and you know doing this with us.

Vishesh: Pleasure pleasure.

Himanshu: So for the listeners, if you can give us a quick introduction about the brand, your journey on Amazon and anything that you feel relevant to share on this call.

Vishesh: Actually we started this around 4 years back on Amazon and like day by day we grow up but unfortunately, in between we got stuck in our sales then like a few months back we met you and Shahzeb, right? And after that, we're getting good sales, good results.

Himanshu: All right, super. So, if you want to talk about in general, even if not in terms of absolute numbers, in terms of percentage, what things work for you percentage-wise.

Vishesh: Percentage-wise if we talk about then I think we had a growth of 2x in a span of 3 months I suppose.

Himanshu: Correct.

I think it's three months that we are together. More than three months

Vishesh: Actually more than three months.

Himanshu: All right, great.

That's really great to know, so, before we met and I am really fortunate to meet you but before we met, in general, what were the challenges in terms of growing so that people also can relate to it like "Yeah we face the same challenges."

Vishesh: Well you see the main common challenge, on online platforms I think that is sales, 'organic sales' which should be growing or if you're spending ads then comparatively how much sales are you getting, what is the conversion, which matters a lot and it's a basic thing and we have noticed since we joined you guys we were working on some irrelevant keywords or like there are more SPN's if we work with them, then they don't guide you much they don't handle your account properly.

With rules and regulations but since we're working with you our ads campaigns are working well. Plus our overall growth ACOS and TACOS wise.

Plus our overall growth on other ASINs before we used to had limited sales of ASINs but now other ASINs which were in sleeping mode are now active that's the growth we are getting and personally, I think it's really important to work on ad spend or ad keywords, which are ignored by many, and even if they work on it, it's done half-heartedly like they just add some keywordds, generate a title, put up a good image but overall like you guided me side by side like there's some content issue or the title name, or the images aren't that good, go the A+ content, make comparison tables these things helped us a lot.

Himanshu: Sir, see, in my opinion generally only 2 things matter, if I have to bucket them everything, I'll bucket them in 2

First is the Visibility part which is how many people are watching my catalog month on month, year on year, quarter on quarter, and then second is how many of them buy. As an ads agency a lot of times we also have bias because our direct KPI is ads, we manage ads so we directly control visibility.

Like if I'll add this keyword, we'll get sales but a lot of times it doesn't work and we have also learned this hard way but gradually working with sellers we have realized that this is not the only thing we should be doing people should purchase as well, they should like your catalog, it's appealing enough it's hard to make Indian customers buy something, so it's really important to work on your catalog and i think that's where we also started, you know finding out and if there's any scope of improvement but in general.

Overall, if I ask you what has been your Amazon journey for the last 3-4 years if you want to give a tip to our listeners since you're an experienced seller now. Like make any mistake but don't make this one.

So if you can think of anything of that sort

Vishesh: Well first thing, people learn from mistakes

Himanshu: Yeah right.

Vishesh: If you do not make mistakes, then you will not know that mistakes are happening.

Himanshu: Absolutely correct.

Vishesh: We have also made a lot of mistakes, we have also done a lot of wrong ad spend done a lot of campaigns, gave coupons, discounts, deal of the day.

We still do regular deal of the day on our around 40-50 ASINS.

Himanshu: Correct

Vishesh: So i think proper guidance is very necessary, that's the only way you can grow unless and until you don't have deep-dive knowledge if you have deep-dive knowledge then you can do but still i feel that we lack somewhere, that is not our expertise. Obviously, the work suits in the hands of the one skilled to do it.

Himanshu: Yeah, right.

Vishesh: Only the person who is an expert in that field should do that work. What can do we do, we can maintain our stock or add new ASINS but overall for growth or if we need to focus on particular things or if there's something wrong, you guys know better about it.

Himanshu: No, no, I agree sir.

There are so many variables here on Amazon that you can not control everything at once.

Vishesh: Exactly.

Himanshu: So a lot of times, what happens is you end up solving 5 things and 5 more problem occur, you fix those 5 and then another 5 occur, so that's one problem that's where the seller loses focus from the right matrix i.e., visibility, conversion rate etc etc. and that's okay, I think I have seen this in most of the sellers because your expertise lies in developing the product, sourcing, manufacturing and you need to ensure that you're not out of stock, regionally available, customer service is good. You already have a lot on your late.

And I wouldn't blame a seller if you moved your focus from ads, such things happen until unless you have an in-house scheme that focuses on ASINs wise clearly. So, it happens again and again, you are done with good sourcing and manufacturing there's enough capacity to sell but it's not selling because of ignorance visibility is gone.

As soon as I move towards, let's do some ads ourselves and fix this till then other operations get spoiled. Now things start getting out of stock. This is a loop that needs to be taken out of and all successful seller has solved that. Either they set up an in-house team and did it Either they set up an in-house team and did it or did it with the help of a third party like us, so that is the reason we exist.

Vishesh: Exactly

Himanshu: There is one thing on which regular focus is needed and let's say solve that and for that objective we started this company but yeah it has been reallly great till now almost 3.5 months, I would say this is one of the smoothest journey that we have seen there is good growth month on month.

Vishesh: Right, right.

Himanshu: So, really pleased to see that Yeah so Shahzeb was not able to join the call, anything that you want to share about him how he works.

Vishesh: Shahzeb was very hard-working I mean, I used to get messages from him, at 4 in the morning or 3 in the night about details or data or if he sees anything in the account, i mean he don’t see the time he's on it basically.

Himanshu: That's actually needed, also i keep saying a lot of times to all folks in my team. If you turn off the system at 8 o'clock, then keep it off so that you can be productive the next day also but at the same time, that's okay if you feel productive in the later hours we don’t have any problems

Vishesh: It depends.

Himanshu: Yeah, Shahzeb is one of those guys who gets productive after sunset so i guess that's the reason but yeah being on top of numbers is really important so yeah, thank you so much for those words I really appreciate it and ending note, or any conclusion you want to share I really appreciate it and ending note, or any conclusion you want to share about your journey about Adsify, anything. Be it positive or negative, we're open.

Vishesh: There is nothing negative yet and I hope it doesn't happen even further.

Himanshu: For sure, we’ll make sure.

Vishesh: And about positive, yes we're growing day by day.

The main thing a seller want is to grow, and when he does, the team with him will grow.

Himanshu: Absolutely

Vishesh: That is so obvious, so thanks to adsify for this.

Himanshu: I thank you so much for your words, i really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. I hope we keep hitting new highs, month on month, soon we'll see further growth as well we'll set up a connect maybe 3 months down the line to review journey, so that the listeners can also understand what are the mistakes we have made and can learn from those because there always be a few things irrespective of the category where you are bound to make those mistakes and as you said one way is to learn by making mistakes but there's another way which is to learn from other's mistakes. If someone loudly points out a mistake, perhaps it could benefit someone.

Vishesh: but for that you should be a good observer

Himanshu: Absolutely correct, it’s not possible at all so, I hope people will get value out of it and we'll keep on doing these sessions so that people can get more of what works, and what doesn't work at least from the experienced sellers and as I said I really appreciate working with you Looking forward to month-on-month growth.

Vishesh: Same here
